Bringing warmth & intention to the practice of therapy.

If you’re feeling stretched thin, overwhelmed or stuck - you’re not alone.

Many people come to therapy because something in their life isn’t quite working the way it used to.

Do any of these sound familiar?

  • You’re carrying more than you let others see.

  • You feel pressure to get everything right.

  • Your mind rarely “turns off.”

  • You’re craving clarity, calm, or direction.

  • You want change, but aren’t sure where to begin.

  • You tend to prioritize others’ needs over your own.

You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from support. Let’s explore what a more meaningful, grounded life can look like - together.

Meet Brittany

Over the past decade, I’ve worked across inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings, and most recently served as the Chief Clinical Officer for a Brooklyn-based group practice. These experiences have deepened my belief that therapy should be both grounding and transformative—rooted in understanding, yet oriented toward helping you live fully and intentionally.

My work is guided by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a behavioral therapy that helps us make space for discomfort while moving toward what matters most. Rather than waiting for your thoughts or feelings to change, ACT helps you build the skills to live meaningfully in the presence of struggle. Our inner experience can be thought of like nourishment for the mind—when we feed ourselves unhelpful or critical thoughts (“junk food”), we feel depleted. Through ACT, we learn to notice what we’re feeding ourselves, to choose what sustains us, and to treat our minds with care and compassion.

At Thoughtful Practice, my goal is to meet you where you are, with warmth and understanding, and to help you move toward a life that feels purposeful and whole.

In addition to my clinical work, I’m passionate about mentoring and training early-career therapists. I provide professional development trainings, helping new clinicians integrate evidence-based therapies like ACT, CBT and more in ways that are authentic, compassionate, and sustainable. I believe that when therapists feel supported and grounded in their work, it strengthens not only their professional growth but also the care they provide to their clients.
